1. The heating time of glass that needs to be specially processed or special glass should be appropriately extended or shortened according to the specific situation and relevant regulations.

2.  Glass with holes and glass with notch on edges

For glass with holes, it should be noted that the diameter of the hole is generally not less than the nominal thickness of the glass during processing.

Hole position requirements:

1. The distance from the edge of the hole to the edge of the glass must be at least twice of the thickness of the glass.

2. The distance between the edges of the two holes should not be less than twice the thickness of the glass. (b>2d)

3. The distance between the edge of the hole and the corner of the glass should not be less than 6 times the thickness of the glass.

4. If the distance between the edge of the hole and the corner is less than 35mm, then the hole should not be symmetrical with respect to the corner.

Only by observing the above points for hole drilling, the yield rate during the tempering process can be guaranteed, otherwise the damage will increase and the yield rate cannot be guaranteed.

The holes’ edge notch’ edge should be carefully polished, and the heating time of the glass should be 5-10% longer than that of ordinary glass.
